After the large-scale invasion of Russia on the territory of Ukraine, the life of Ukrainians was divided between BEFORE and AFTER February 24, 2022..

Even those Ukrainians who are a thousand kilometres away from the epicentre of the events. War traumatizes everyone’s psyche. Especially of those who are just forming their psyche. Children, in emotional terms, sometimes suffer more.

The task of parents is to help the child overcome a difficult period with the least losses. Moreover, in all senses of the word. War trauma that is not processed in time can cause a number of problems such as aggression, violence, and various kinds of addictions.

Training “Parenting in conditions of war”

consists of 2 training modules. Each of which includes: theory, practice and homework:


Module 1. Talking to children about war: what is the right way to

  • discuss or protect children from reality
  • talk about the war without traumatizing the child’s psyche
  • answer difficult questions – reaction to sirens, resettlement, separation from loved ones, occupiers…


Module 2. A new approach to education

  • how war affects children
  • actions of parents to support the child
  • what is important to change in the educational process
