“Life in a new way – an adaptation of children abroad”

Expecting that everything will work itself out and somehow it will be – a catastrophic mistake.

The lives of all Ukrainians changed radically after the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Millions of families with children were forced to flee to dangerous places.

Separation from relatives, a new place of residence, another environment, culture and mentality, and a foreign language to learn is a huge stress and an incredible burden even for an adult, not to mention a child. We perceive everything unknown and unusual as a danger. Add to this the trauma of war, which affects not only us but several generations after us.

We must help the child adapt to a new life. Parents are very important participants in the adaptation process. At the training, we will understand what exactly children need now and how to integrate it into everyday life.
